God listens to Archie

You may remember the article posted on YFTW in which a number of suggestions were made on how the design of ducks could be improved on. It seems that one of these suggestions has now been implemented and a four-legged duck has emerged.

Time to go
Dear Mrs Widow, would you like your husband buried, cremated or tossed carelessly onto this bonfire which consists mostly of branches and moss?

"THE LATTER, THE LATTER", the widow shouted.

"It's what George would have wanted".

Story time
Once upon a time a man ran out of biscuits. It was a terrible situation. This is how it happened. One day a man, the same one (the one mentioned above. Yes... Him), was sitting watching a particularly erotic episode of Pingu - the last of the boxset. By the time he got to the bit where Pingu was racing round the igloo like a mentalist shouting "Noop nook, coocoo! Noop nook, coo coo!" the man, let us call him Bernard the Man, had developed quite an appetite. "I know what I need", he thought to himself as he did up his shirt and rose, "a nice Nice biscuit with a light drizzling of lemon juice!" Into the kitchen he went, with a certain crunch on his mind. Unbolting the cupboard revealed a horrifying state of affairs. A complete absence of biscuits. An utter and absolute dearth. A scarcity of Brobdingnagian proportions. An overwhelming paucity. "Oh dear," said Bernard the Man, sobbing. Even the soothing Pinguish tones coming from the other room did little to assuage his anxiety. Since That Day, his life has never been the same.

The Power of Spaghetti

I found this little gem floating around in the attic. (Literally floating, it was quite unnerving.) It reminded me of educational days of yore. Here it is.

Lampshade, Moving.

After months of little activity this side of the YFTW River, here arrives the second new animation in (somewhat) quick succession. Admire the delights of the story about Lampshade and the trials at a difficult time in his life.

A question of amps for my lamp

Today I bought 4 fuses. Each fuse contains 3 amps. I meant to buy a fuse containing 13 amps (for my lamp). If I buy a 1-amp fuse and empty all the amps out of my 4 3-amp fuses and put them in with the 1 amp in the new fuse, will that solve my problem? I don't know if it's relevant but my lamp is yellow.

A little story

"Soon we will learn how to define entities." Danny had lofty ambitions, especially for a caterpillar. His dreams were not of cabbage leaves or Burberry shoots, oh no. They were made of finer stuff; of manifesting matter and conjuring up abstract objects from the thinnest of air.

Carla nodded agreeingly. She had been working on the EntDef project alongside Danny for over 3 days now. She had joined as a mere youngster and although now at least a few hours past her prime she still had the kind of green furry curves that keep young boy caterpillars awake at night. It was a 5-strong team but really only Carla and Danny contributed anything to the project. The others - Banger, Jeremy and Moonshine - just sat about munching greenery all day. It didn't matter. The solution, Danny was sure, was very nearly at hand. For caterpillar-kind he would do this. He would define entities and he would be famous.

New Foruminosity of Wonder
There is a new foruminosity of wonder. The Foruminosity link on the main site now takes you there. It is marvellous, delightful - not to mention brilliant. It's a whole new way to look at the world - much different to this way. Much. My advise is to have a cup of tea and then go and register for the new foruminosity. The tea part is not optional. The plan is to remove the old foruminosity from existence soonly.

See it now. Click Here. Or Here.
